I am still stuck with the trauma left behind by my exes verbal, mental, and even sexual abuse

My abusive ex dumped be two years ago, and despite the fact they were the abusive one, they seemed to be happier than me for a while. I am happy with my new girlfriend now, but I am still stuck with the trauma left behind by my exes verbal, mental, and even sexual abuse.

I just don’t understand why my ex still gets to be happy and not face the consequences of their actions. I’m not asking for death to fall upon my ex, but I just want justice. I want them to face the consequences of their actions, feel the pain I felt for the last four years.
